  The research methods used in a research should be suitable with the problem investigated in order to get the best result of validity and reliability of theresearch instruments, thus the researcher could achieve the objective of the research well. It was also intended to knowwhether or not there was a significant effect of Herringbone Technique on the Two classes used as the research samples came out of the five existing science th classes of the 11 grade students of SMAN 1 Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi , basically, by random selection and random assignment using cluster randomsampling method after analyzed statistically the students’ previous score.
